Halton Borough Council, working in partnership with Warm Zones and Energy Projects Plus, has secured funding to help residents to keep warm in their home at an affordable cost.
The help available to residents includes:
• Insulation (loft and cavity wall) for homes without adequate insulation
• Boiler replacement for residents whose boiler is not working effectively
• New central heating for low income residents without central heating
• Information and referral to the Council backed Merseyside Collective Energy Switch scheme.
You do not need to be in receipt of benefits to be eligible for the schemes.
To find out more, or to apply for the range of schemes highlighted, simply contact Energy Projects Plus. They will explain what is available to you and, if you choose, refer you into the appropriate scheme, and support you throughout the process.
Council Leader Cllr Rob Polhill says: “We are delighted to have been able to get this funding, and I’d encourage people to get in touch with Energy Projects Plus to apply. It’s a really good opportunity for people to get a new boiler, insulation or central heating.”
